Amana~
“Amana is both an experienced and intuitive guide. Her presence during my pregnancy, postpartum and mothering journey has helped me to be at ease. She exudes natural motherhood, without judgement of where you are in your mothering journey. She has experienced many of the peaks and valleys of being a mother and is able to meet you, and be with you, where you are. She is love; patient and kind.” Emily

“I feel so grateful for Amana’s grounding presence throughout my pregnancies. Her compassionate spirit was felt in every word and kind gesture. She is a well of birth wisdom, both professionally and spiritually. I trust her ritual based approach to life and admire how she weaves Love into every experience. I would recommend her to women from all walks of life and in all realms of the birthing process, as she has grown the capacity to hold space for all aspects of the womb journey. Her gifts to the birthing world are beyond measure.” Jma
“Amana brings calm to any situation, just what mothers and families need in birthing and postpartum. Amana offered doula care that was supportive and intuitive. She knew just when to ask if she could provide assistance, and the techniques helped greatly with the intensity of labor. Amana is a natural caretaker, filled with love . Emily”

Gerrie~
We cannot begin to thank you enough for your support, love and generosity as we welcome our sweet E into the world. You are incredible and we've been truly blessed by you.

"Thank you seems to have lost some meaning - I am ALWAYS saying it to you. In this case I wish I could shout it from the mountain tops. I am so grateful to have had you as my doula. Your help prenatally at the version was SO important and your support at the labor was ESSENTIALLY helpful. I know you think you did so little - but that's not my perception."
- Much Love and Thanks! K
"My placenta pills are like gold, I hope to have some left through menopause."
- Naomi
"Gerrie, thank you so much for taking care of my family. You are one of the most amazing women that I know. I am so grateful for you."
- Much love, B
"Thank you so much for the capsules and for the extras. My husband called to tell me how impressed he was with the packaging and presentation. He was so excited. I'm eating the last half of my soup now...so good. I'd love the recipe. I don't know many people that want to save their placentas but I will for sure pass your name on to the next pregnant friend I have, if only for the soup ;-)"
- Amanda
"I just wanted to say thank you so much for the extra goodies with my placenta pills! The soup was delicious and the lotion smells divine."
- Thanks! L
"Thank you Gerrie, for being an amazing doula and a wonderful friend. If you need a doula, she would be a wonderful choice."
- Natalie
"I have known Gerrie professionally and personally since 1995. We were in a birth professional group together twice over the years, as well as cross referring clients to each other. I trust her implicitly as a doula and appreciate her caring, open, and nurturing presence. She is truly a gift to the birthing community and as a doula. Gerrie is organized, caring, extremely competent, and has an excellent ability to connect with people of all ages. I highly recommend her for any position or endeavor that she may seek to pursue. She will be a valuable asset for any organization.

"I have known Gerrie Margell on both a personal and a professional level for at least 15 years. She has been my partner and my friend, dedicated to me on both fronts. If I had an extremely long labor, Gerrie didn't hesitate to bring in "fresh blood" and fresh ideas as well as food for the benefit of both the mother and me. She has picked me up at the place of delivery if I had to ride in with a couple with a precipitous labor and gotten me back to my car. She has been a wonderful friend and partner and I miss her in my practice every day.
As a birth doula, she is organized, confident, sensitive, and creative. She is a great communicator, not leaving unsaid what should be spoken, positive or not, and I have always appreciated that about her. As a postpartum doula, she is the kind of person who can see what needs to be done without being asked and just jumps in, but always in a respectful manner. I have seen this in her on a personal level, and if I were still a young mother, there is no one I would rather have at my side."
